- ➤ Families at Golden Age Living — an assisted living facility in Newman — were given 48 hours to move their loved ones after owner Kelsy Ramos was found dead in Fresno on May 5 following a May 2 missing report. State officials are working with Ramos’ family to install a temporary manager for 60 to 90 days as families question the sudden eviction notice that puts hospice residents at risk.
