ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A school resource officer at Blaker-Kinder Junior High School was shot when her holstered gun discharged by suspected malfunction Tuesday afternoon and she was taken to a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening leg injury & no other persons were injured. FOX40
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Ceres Police are asking Modesto residents to help find 16-year-old Maxwell Satterwhite, who was last seen on February 10 in Modesto and is described as 5 feet 7 inches and 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes (tips should be reported to Detective Petersen or local law enforcement). FOX40
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The California Department of Housing and Community Development sent a letter to Turlock on June 24 saying that the city’s housing plan has been out of compliance since December—its refusal to fund a single dollar that would unlock nearly $270,000 in state money—and if Turlock does not act by submitting a plan by July 3, it risks fines up to $100,000 monthly and legal action.
