➤ A Stanislaus County mother and son duo was sentenced for fraud over unemployment insurance claims, with Jaime Ornelas, 27, from Modesto receiving a prison term of three years and one month + a $150,000 restitution order on July 18 and her mother Misty Ornelas receiving an 18-month sentence after the pair allegedly used inmate data to file fake claims starting in June 2020.
