- ➤ Firefighters responded to the 2-2 Fire that burned more than 1,200 acres near Highway 4 and Dunton Road in Calaveras County early Tuesday. The blaze—sparked by thunderstorms—led to a closure of Highway 4 between Escalon Bellota Road and Telegraph Road, and no structures were threatened or evacuations ordered. CBS Sacramento
