- ➤ A new medical school will open in French Camp in 2027 — it will use an existing county building near San Joaquin General Hospital and run under a 30-year lease at $1 a year. Aria University will operate the school to help ease the region's shortage of health care professionals and support a nearby health services complex. CBS Sacramento
