Gardeners pay $50 a year for water, shared tools, and waste disposal—while growing diverse produce and enjoying a mural by a local student. CBS Sacramento

GOVERNMENT NEWS

➤ The Weekly Traffic Impact Report for the week of October 9, 2025 detailed several road projects with lane closures, detours, and night work on Scenic Drive, Sisk Road, Coffee Road and other streets, causing delays with work continuing through early 2026 and even into March 2027. Motorists are urged to drive slowly and use alternate routes with night work on Coffee Road scheduled from October 12—16. City of Modesto
