- ➤ The City Council approved a memorandum of understanding with United Way of Stanislaus County to partner with the Modesto Gospel Mission after the Downtown Streets Team ends on October 31, ensuring there is no gap in service. United Way will manage up to $1,250,000 in funding while the city works with other partners to secure more support for the program serving up to 68 participants. City of Modesto
