➤ Modesto police warned encampments along the Tuolumne River on Monday, Dec. 22 that rising water could cause flooding, using on-foot teams + drones to advise residents to move to higher ground as some belongings were already damaged. CBS Sacramento
➤ Modesto city crews are preparing for possible flooding as a flood warning remains in effect and rain is expected later this week. They are clearing leaves from streets and storm drains and offering free sandbags behind City Hall (to help residents in low-lying areas). CBS Sacramento
